I am currently a student in Drexel University's M.L.S. program and an intern in the Reference department of Van Pelt Library at the University of Pennsylvania. My previous experience includes working for several years as an abstractor, indexer and database manager for ECRI, a non-profit health services research agency. Before that, I completed a Ph.D. in Yale's Medieval Studies program. As a scholar, I am interested in making my work (primarily translations of medieval texts: see my home page at http://www.voicenet.com/~ebennett/) available in electronic media. As a librarian, I am interested in the technical and practical issues involved in organizing text digitization projects.
